Our Story

Spotless Home Cleaning Services of Queens, NY started in 2014 with one van working the blocks around 31st Street, and Astoria itself set the shape of the business. This is a neighborhood of two-, three- and four-family houses, very often with the owner on one floor and tenants above, and almost every cleaning company we came up against priced that as separate jobs with separate trip charges. We didn't, and still don't. 7,500+ cleans and a 5.0-star rating from 150+ clients later, one visit and one invoice is still the thing people mention first.

The second thing Astoria taught us was about hours. Between the studios at Kaufman Astoria and Silvercup, the restaurants along 30th Avenue and Broadway, and the hospital and airport shifts, a substantial share of this neighborhood is not home between nine and five. So we staffed around the clock and charged the same rate for it. A six o'clock clean before a call time, or a late-evening one after a service, costs exactly what a Tuesday afternoon costs — there's no unsocial-hours premium, because the hours aren't unsocial here, they're just the hours.

The homes vary more across our small radius than you'd expect. A four-family brick house near Steinway Street is a different job from a detached home with a finished basement up in Astoria Heights, which is different again from a 19th-century wood-frame house on the Old Astoria waterfront, or a Hunters Point tower where the whole point is a wall of west-facing glass looking at Midtown. We carry neutral soaps for old wood, squeegees and descaling agents for new glass and stone, and extension equipment for high ceilings — and we ask which kind of home you have before quoting rather than after arriving.

Everything else is straightforward and doesn't move. Flat rates set for Queens, quoted up front. No stair surcharge in a neighborhood built on stairs. No surcharge for Ravenswood or Astoria Heights, which plenty of companies quietly skip. Every cleaner background-checked, insured and bonded. And a free re-clean within 24 hours if we miss something. After 10+ years here, most of our new work still arrives because a neighbor passed the number along.
